The Symon name carries great historical weight in the San Francisco/Bay area. Anne is a fifth-generation native to the Bay, and her great-grandfather founded Symon Brothers back in 1906. He played a big role in the “takedown” of SF after the 1906 earthquake and created one of the City’s first salvage yards. Symon Bros was instrumental in the rebuilding of the City.
